The Central Valley Marathi Mandal (CVMM) is excited to announce a unique opportunity for our younger community members to showcase their creativity and love for our rich Marathi heritage. We are inviting all young minds to come forward and design a logo that encapsulates the spirit of Marathi Asmita, our learning initiatives, cultural festivals, and the love for the Marathi language in America. This is your chance to contribute to our community's identity and make your mark!

Contest Rules and Guidelines:

1. Theme and Elements:

·       The logo must reflect Marathi Asmita (pride), highlighting elements of Marathi Shala/learning, Marathi festivals, and the love for the Marathi language within the American context.

·       It should be a visual representation of our mission to promote Marathi culture, language, and unity among the diaspora in the Central Valley.

2. Eligibility:

The contest is open to all young members of the CVMM community. We encourage participants of all skill levels to submit their designs.

3. Design Requirements:

·       Originality: Entries must be original works that have not been published previously or won any awards.

·       Format: Submissions should be in a high-resolution digital format, suitable for both digital and print use. Acceptable formats include JPEG, PNG, or PDF.

·       Visibility: Designs should be legible and clear, even when scaled down to smaller sizes.

4. Submission Process:

·       Participants should submit their logo designs via email to [insert email address], with the subject line "CVMM Logo Design Contest."

·       Include your full name, age, and a brief description of your design concept with your submission.

5. Deadline:

All entries must be submitted by March 9th 2024 (end of the day). Late submissions will not be considered.

6. Selection and Rewards:

The best two logos will be selected by the CVMM committee and will be rewarded. Details of the rewards will be announced at a later date.

The winning designs will be used in CVMM's official branding and promotional materials.

7. Committee Decision:

The CVMM committee's decision will be final. By participating, entrants agree to accept and abide by the rules and the final decision of the committee.

8. Intellectual Property:

By submitting a design, participants agree that CVMM has the right to use the winning logos for any and all purposes related to the organization's activities.

Our Objective:

Through this contest, we aim to engage our younger generation in a creative process that not only fosters their artistic talents but also deepens their connection to our Marathi heritage. It's an opportunity to raise and nurture Marathi Asmita among them, ensuring that our culture and language flourish far from our motherland.
