The festive season is upon us, and it’s time to add a dash of creativity and culture to our celebrations! The Central Valley Marathi Mandal (CVMM) is ecstatic to announce two enthralling contests as part of our Diwali Event. Let’s dive into the details and get ready to showcase our Marathi Asmita!

Contest 1: Best Diwali Decoration and Celebration: This Diwali, let your homes resonate with joy, color, and cultural fervor! We invite you to share a sneak peek into your Diwali celebrations.

·       How to Participate: Record a video (up to 30 seconds) capturing your lively Diwali decorations and family celebrations that echo Marathi Asmita.

·       Submission: Please upload your video here (https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Ql9ct8-qBgct71zsljNMEH514Ibvfr2P?usp=sharing ). Ensure your video is named with your family name and initial for easy identification.

Contest 2: Diwali Rangoli: Rangoli is the heart of Diwali decorations, and we want to see your artistry shine!

·       How to Participate: Craft a Rangoli that embodies the spirit of Diwali, Marathi wishes, and cultural pride using any materials you prefer.

·       Submission: Take two photos of your Rangoli - one featuring the artist at work and the other showcasing the completed piece. Upload your photos here (https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1LMUw85Q__h8i86CMRWs70yEpLP6_CQER?usp=sharing. Name them appropriately.

 

Awards: Six talented winners will be chosen - three from each contest. The dazzling prizes will be announced and presented during our Diwali event.

Submission Deadline: Ensure your entries are submitted by November 15th, EOD.

Rules:

·       Entries should capture the essence of Diwali 2023.

·       For the Rangoli contest, the authenticity of your work is paramount, and we look forward to your original creations.

Materials for Rangoli: Wondering what you can use for your Rangoli? The sky's the limit! From colors and Rangoli powder to flowers and more - feel free to unleash your creativity.
